Artist's Comments
This here is an air-dried clay sculpture of a character from my novel, "The Navaliant". I painted it with water-based paint and added a glossy finish to the eyes, teeth and scales.
As a conceptual designer, I tried to make this creature as dissimilar as possible from well-known movie monsters ... perhaps I should attempt to sculpt him in another mood. Anyway, he is a Malroth named Aychthaen. They are more gentlemanly in my book, I assure you. By the way this is an original sculpture. I sculpted it myself. Comments

 I was wondering when you were going to take this thing off that desk in the Art Room.  Oh yeah, and it's friggin' sweet. --  I AM A FURRY. Happy ... yeah ummm ... ... uh ... ... no. -- My voice will whisper through infinity, but my name will echo in eternity. Ahhh, a little part of me was hoping that would be a happy expession.
 Wow, I was linked to your page by ~Hellknight1000, and I'm glad he did. This is a very cool sculpture, that glossy effect on the scales and mouth you used makes it look very realistic. I look forward to seeing how you use him in the story.
