This is the second drawing of mine intended for Hellknight1000's Silent Hill monster contest.
Now keeping with the story I invented for the character Daniel, the creatures of his Silent Hill experience tend to be monstrous versions of his family. Chienne would be his mother.
As the story goes, Daniel's father was a cruel man who beat his beautiful wife nightly, calling her "chienne" as he did it (Chienne is French for Bitch). This was the only word he cared to learn of his wife's own language (she was from France). The beast she would become would resemble he wretched form. Oh yeah and she's a Boss.
Originally a severed dog's head, her cowering body limps towards the main character as he passes by. Disgusted, he stomps the foot tall monster and continues on. However, the creature rises up, uninjured and bigger. The more damage Chienne receives, the greater she becomes, eventually morphing into a nine foot high psycho-bitch from planet hell! Her means of inflicting pain range at first from scratching a the players feet to at her final stages when she will impail you with her claws.
All of this symbolizes Daniel's mother's quest for revenge. She died cowering like a dog, afraid and enraged at the same time, so why should things be different in the afterlife? Her figure is now pathetic and merged with what her husband made her. Her face is in an expression of pain as she drags the dog's loose throat as a tail. And finally ... the sexual motifs ... ew
